grilled sausage & veggie kebabs

ingredients

  1. Dietz & Watson Beef Uncured Smoked Sausage, sliced
  2. 3 bell peppers, sliced
  3. 1/2 a large red onion, sliced
  4. 10 large baby bella mushrooms, halved
  5. 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  6. 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  7. 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  8. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  9. 1 teaspoon paprika
  10. Fine sea salt & freshly cracked pepper
  11. Vegetable oil (for grilling)
  12. Chopped flat-leaf Italian parsley

directions

  1. Preheat grill to 450-500° F.
  2. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20-30 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cut veggies and sausage with olive oil, oregano, parsley, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Arrange veggies and sausage on skewer, alternate for even cooking.
  5. Oil the heated grill grates. Place the skewers on the grill and close. Cook 6-8 minutes flipping halfway through, until veggies and sausage are lightly charred.
  6. Remove and serve with some fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy as is or with your favorite sauce.
